glock, been around forever, I get nervous with the safety trigger, have owned and carried bunch.
the revolvers, foolproof, great cartridges, accurate
40 or 45acp for me. but my Browning Hi power mark3 with 17 round mags and +p+ ammo, wow., very very accurate, 1.5 inch hand held on bench groups at 25 yards, two liter bottle hits at 100 yards.

Did you happen to notice no single action weapons for carry?
Have not shot anyone (yet, thank God, civil suit and criminal charges even for law enforcement is common), but from personal experience, when it hits the fan, the last thing one wants to do is work a single action auto pistol.
