I bought a 45 pound recurve last Christmas and have been shooting it thru the winter months... it is a very comfortable bow and accurate bow. The company that made them is called October Mountain Products. The bow I have is the Adrionack Hunter. Anybody else have any experience with this bow line? I'm very impressed with these recurves.

If your draw length is 29" and you are planning on upgrading to a bow that is 28.5 inches I wouldnt have any problems setting you up in that situation . I would just add a 'd' loop or string loop to your string. You can really fine tune your draw length by adjusting these 'd' loops you use. Plus by the d loop you would have less tear on your serving on your string when you attach your release to the d loop.. I also believe you can tighten up your groups by going to a d loop. So yes there would be no trouble upgrading to a 28.5 inch draw length.
