Well, my partner looked online and we did not get drawn for any of our elk hunts. I'm going to still put in for deer in June and turkey. I have heard that the mountain ranges between Maricopa and Gila Bend on SR 238 have some nice bucks in them. People tell me that they are hard to hunt, but I like a challenge. My cousin in southwest Colorado near Durango tells me to come up there and get a tag as deer are all over his property and are eating up all his feed for his cows.

I was at the ISE in Glendale and found out that a number of applicants who registered through Cabela's did not get turned in on time. Any truth to this and if so, is Arizoan G&F going to make an exception to the rule given that the it is a large amount of people who did not get in on time? I dropped mine off in person, so does that make my chances better?
