Favorite Places I Have Hunted/Fished:
Northern Utah -- because this is where I was introduced to hunting/angling in 06-07 by my father in-law. Were it not for my beautiful and lovely wife, I probably would not be an avid outdoorsman (I like to think of my self as a "Modern Mountain Man"). Sure I liked to ride a mountian bikes or even go camping, but my wife's father bought me a pole and her brother bought me a fishing liscense in 06 and showed me what it was realy like to go fishin (sitting on the side of a stinky pond sounded boreing, we went up just above hardware ranch and caught trout all day on the 4th of July). After that they invited me to the range and I got into Swiss rifles 'cause of the straight pull bolt, we then went deer huntin, did not tag a thing, but dang was it fun! In the fall of 07 they invited me to tag along on their archery elk hunt... WOW!!! I can't wait to take my new PSE X-Force out and fill MY freezer with elk meat this fall.

Interests:
I consider myself an American born Irishman. That is - both my mother's and father's ancestors came from the land of IRE. I would love to visit Ireland before I die, or maby even retire there. Aside from all interests connected with hunting or fishing... I enjoy photography, designing logos, and aviation.

There is a reason they call it the "Swiss Flu" visit www.swissrifles.com for more info on them. Get a K31 for sure, if ya are well to do find a ZFK55 sniper they are the COOLEST

I understand what you mean about the straight pull action - however - it being the style of high powered rifle that I first shot, I feel right at home with it.

I just bought my first bow, an x-force. I am not new to shooting bows @ targets, but I imagine there are tips and tricks that you all have found through trial and error. If any of you would like to share, I am always hungery for info : )
Whether it is specific to the x-force, or fairly generalized, let the responses fly (as it were)

I know there are MANY fourms already dedicated to the swiss rifles, however, I am curious to know if there are any other hunters here who use Swiss rilfes of any kind. My father-in-law has a sportsterized 96/11 with a shortened chamber that shoots the .308win instead of the 7.5x55 Swiss round that my K31 uses. They both perform beautifully, mine hits 2-3 inch groups @ 300 yards.
