I know I'll catch a little grief over this but Chuck Adams. Anyone who can successfully get within bow range of that many animals is my hero! And Will Primos. That dude seems so cool to me. He still gets excited at the moment of truth, no pun intended, and isn't that what it's all about?

It's about to open! Haven't checked with forest service yet but I think shortly after the fourth of July it will open back up. A buddy who lives up there says they're getting some pretty good rains as of late so it's GAME ON!

Hey,
Anybody out there have any lines on an inexpensive axis hunt? The wife has been on me to get her a hide but not for the prices I have seen! I think it would be a blast to hunt them with my bow and being as I really need the hide a doe wouldn't be out of the question.

Not a whole lot of 400's but 370 wouldn't be a stretch! You guys are talkin' MY stompin grounds now!

From what I understand AZ game and fish did not make an exception to the rule so to answer your question, yes your odds just got a little better. I think it was something like 580 apps that were affected. I can't guess as to how much better your odds are as they were more than likely for all units though.
